Re: Teachers in Canada/Nunavut

Hello!

My name is Alcvin Takegawa Ramos and I teach shakuhachi mainly in British Columbia, Canada. I also make occasional trips to Montreal, Quebec to teach and have students in Edmonton. Please let me know if you would like study shakuhachi with me. I play both jinashi (hocchiku) and jiari styles; Kinko and Tozan notations are used as well. I have a shihan license from Katsuya Yokoyama and specialize in koten honkyoku. But I also teach sankyoku, minyou, and modern music as well.

Best wishes,

Alcvin
