Mujitsu and Tairaku's Shakuhachi BBQ

Until now there have been no guidelines to the buy/sell forum. We've pretty much left people on their own to police themselves. As the commercial aspect of the buy/sell forum has grown, it is now time to implement some guidelines. These guidelines are meant to allow the freedom to buy and sell while toning down some of the professional commercial activity. They are also meant to help focus more attention on the meat of the forum - the exchange of shakuhachi ideas. They can be found here.

There has also been more commercial activity outside the buy/sell forum in terms of people posturing and/or hawking their merchandise in subtle and not so subtle ways. I would like to urge all of us professionals to police ourselves more than we have. Most of the posts in these forums are sincere and informative. However, there are some that are becoming more commercial. Posts of this nature are transparent and do not help the forum. Before we post, lets think about what we are really trying to say and make sure it is for the good of the forum.
