Yes, thanks for providing this virtual meeting place.  Your week's absence helped me to realize how much I enjoy my shakuhahic pals - I really missed you all!

Yes, I think the administrators deserved a good break! We should do this more often. Gave me some time to play shakuhachi!

Re: Shakuhachiforum.com

When I cliked on my favorites link and the forum popped back up, I threw a small inward sigh.

I appreciate this forum, and you all so much!

Glad to have you back!

Christopher

Re: Shakuhachiforum.com

10 things I did when Shakuhachi Forum was on furlough

1. Finally started reading Watchmen comic book in anticipation of movie.

2. Clicked on shakuhachiforum.com to re-read the hiatus message. Notched my bedpost.

3. Cleaned under my desk. Found the Eb harmonica that went missing 2 years ago.

4. Clicked on shakuhachiforum.com to re-read the hiatus message. Notched my bedpost.

5. Went outside. Saw the sunlight. Retreated back into my apartment.

6. Clicked on shakuhachiforum.com to re-read the hiatus message. Notched my bedpost.

7. Practiced long tones on shakuhachi with my new $7.00 Chinese electric metronome. Heard repeated loud cracking sounds ... perhaps neighbors' windows slamming shut.

8. Clicked on shakuhachiforum.com to re-read the hiatus message. Notched my bedpost.

9. Watched 1982 BBC production of Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida from Netflix.  (Note to self: Remember to play this when having trouble sleeping.)

10. Clicked on shakuhachiforum.com on Monday, March 2. Rewarded with radiant bliss of fraternalism.
