Hello all,
I am out here in Providence, RI visiting my sister-in-law who is due to have a baby today. I mentioned San An as a birthing piece and she excitedly asked if play it for her. Unfortunately, I don't have it memorized (that was on my list before I had my 9 month old).
Does anyone have the Dokyoku sheet musc for San An? It could either be attached on an email directly to me or uploaded as a PDF link somewhere.

I thought I had it, but it's San 'Ya. Sorry.
Good luck getting it...sounds like it'd be a great thing to do. You're very lucky.

Thanks for trying but I just received the music from another generous donor
No need for more.
Thanks!

I poured a bowl of rice through the shakuhachi and played San An on the due date. We waited for a week before she decided to come out. It was an all natural birth and the mid wife said she never saw a first time mother deliver so easily.
I don't know if San An really had anything to do with it since the mother is a Yoga teacher. But, Kinya play it for both my children Sasa and Jet when they were in the womb in Japan. They were also really smooth deliveries. It's just comforting to have faith in something.
All the best,
Perry
