Hi from New Zealand
Hi - Alyson here from Nelson, NZ - I am learning Shakuhachi practice from the Masayuki Koga tutor. I have had one lesson with Jim Langebeer in Auckland about a year ago. I am still at a very very basic level of practice. I was directed to this forum from the SFBay Shakuhachi Forum - I thought joining a discussion group might be a way of picking up some guidance and sharing thoughts.

Welcome to the forum, Alyson. There's a lot of interesting information on various aspects of the shakuhachi on the forum; it just may take a bit of digging to find what you're looking for. Good luck with the shakuhachi.
