One Breath

Well, Howdy!

I am finally signing in! (I have been secretly learning from all the previous posts) Now I will contribute! Some day I will have a photo avatar! (do not hold your breath)
I am a 26 year old fella in northern florida (southern georgia basically) the capital of florida FYI -- Tallahassee.
My wife and I have a one year old son Aidan who is a great musician in his own right and knows exactly what to do with a shakuhachi (seriously)
I play honkyoku and craft shakuhachi from bamboo locally harvested
I am an avid student of all the acoustics literature I can get my hands on and have a pretty solid grasp on what's happening with a flute--though I have much further to go. I am a healer by trade and course and can use the flute to describe the way I view reality. My flute-shop (mats on the porch) name is "Hollow Flute" though I wasn't allowed to use this as a username.
I play all embouchure types other than nose flute, and I'll work on that eventually.
I could jabber all day...especially with this coffee in me....
so.....
see you on the forum

Re: One Breath

Congratulations on your "coming out"!  Welcome to the forum. I suspect  you will have an avatar far sooner than you think.

Re: One Breath

Welcome to the forum. Looks like if a shakuhachi teacher moved to Florida they'd have a nice bunch of people to work with.
