He's the top student of Okuda Atsuya, lives in Nagano up in the mountains. He also makes his own shakuhachi, from the local bamboo.

I had a large, fat shakuhachi made from his bamboo. Very sorry I trade it out. It was an amazing piece.

The videos are wonderful.
