I have 3 flutes now. I think one of them is very nice. I dont read japanese, nor do I know how to play. I live in Northern Virginia, and love this flue sound. HELP!!!

There are a lot of people on the forum in the same posititon as you! First of all welcome to the forum, let me be the first (probably of many) to say that if you can't find a teacher in your area that a lot of people rate Skype lessons.

My tip is to don't spend money on books, cds, dvds, there is a lot of great information on the forum here.
(I bought several books and one dvd, but never use them...)
Spend all your money on classes, live or Skype classes.
And carry always one flute around, play it whenever you have a few minutes.

Very good advice.
I used to carry around PVC in my car and blow it when I was stuck in traffic.
