Yassas, tikanis!
I had my shakuhachi breakthrough when I brought a pvc shaku to Tinos when we were there for two weeks last year in may - I managed to make sounds!! A lot of quiet time on a beach in solitude is perfect for shaku practice.

Next time we travel, I'll contact you as we usually stay 2-4 days around Athens to be touristic...
So if possible we can meet, play and have cafe metrio megala.

I have so many fond memories of Greece, used to stay a lot near Koropi outside Athens, and did archeological surveying on the Peloponnese peninsula. Some great cartrips around Mani, Laconia etc. Not to mention the weekends in Nafplion after sweating on the dry fields around Tripoli the whole week.

Hope you find your practice partner!

J
