Here's a strange question...what did komuso wear on their feet? Relatively modern depictions seem to be divided between geta and setta, but older pictures show either geta or waraji? Does anyone have any thoughts about this esoteric question?

From what pictures I've scene when on a pilgrimage they wore waraji because of the long distances. Otherwise seta were probably worn around the temples and in town. Don't know if that's the norm or not though.
