Irish melodies for shakuhachi score and CD!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Today I launch 'Celtic honkyoku: Irish melodies for shakuhachi' score and CD.

Cost: €25 (Approx. £20, ¥4,000, $40) Buy here http://www.shakuhachizen.com

The melodies include famous tunes such as 'The Derry Air' and 'Carrigfergus'. There are twenty scores with a playalong CD on 1.8 shakuhachi. The book contains both Kinko-ryu and Tozan-ryu notation versions. The CD also contains bonus tracks of melodies played on longer shakuhachi, Irish flute and tin whistle.

Re: Irish melodies for shakuhachi score and CD!

How to pronounce 'Don oiche ud i mBeithil'? A challenge but here goes:

Don as in the Italian Don

Oiche as letter 'e' followed by 'ha' for happy

ud as in the instrument oud

i as in the letter e

mBeithil as in 'me' like the sheep and 'hill' where the sheep are found.

So 'Don eeha oud ee mehill!'
