What I did in Maui

Played shakuhachi in the 'Iao Valley...

Played shakuhachi at the summit of Mt. Haleakela at sunrise:

(a little hard to play at 10,000 feet)

Played shakuhachi for naked babies in the bamboo forest:

Played shakuhachi on Red Sand Beach in Hana:

(and then came back at night to play guitar and sing along with the various bohemians partying on the beach)

Played shakuhachi on Wailea Beach for one last sunset:

Zen is not easy.
It takes effort to attain nothingness.
And then what do you have?
Bupkes.
