Welcome to the forum. Check out yuu shakuhachi on the Net; they are not bamboo but are excellent for starting out with and are cheap. You might look up the shakuhachi summer festivals in Europe; there is one in the Czech Republic at the end of August; that is probably the event closest to Romania. There is a European Shakuhachi Society that you can access on the Internet. I once visited Romania about four years ago and gave a pvc pipe flute to a guy who played clarinet in the Brasov orchestra; I wonder if he kept playing...
