Concert was a big success. Everybody played well. It was sold out and had a fine audience. Photos and videos forthcoming.

Re: Tasmanian Shakuhachi Concert July 11th

G'day Tairaku. Looking forward to the vids!

BTW, who is the character playing shakuhachi in the poster illustration? Was it borrowed for the design or was it illustrated specially?

Thanks! Perry

Thanks Brian!

I thought about you while I was sipping tequila in Cabo San Lucas!

I was tempted to sit in with the Mariachi musicians but really just wanted to try on their cool outfits! smile

Peace, Perry

Looking forward to the photos and videos! Wish I had been there! Oh well.... I have finished a few more chapters while everything was going on in Sydney and then Tasmania.... so I guess I ought to be happy!
Did you finish off with some fine whisky? smile

Well, we were sponsored by Moorilla winery and Moo Brew beer, so we drank some of that after the show. However my crazy friend Tim stopped by before the show and we had a drop of Royal Lochnagar he bought me at auction in Germany and then after the show he gave us some Black Bottle which is a potted malt of mainly Islay with a base of Bunnahabain. So yes. You missed out. wink

Here's Tim after the show:
