greetings from the mad Chinese major

Hi. My name is David Soler, and I'm a student of Ronnie Nyogetsu Reishin Seldin's.  I received my jun-shihan and the stage name "Nyogen" a few years ago.

I teach English for a living, although my academic training is in Asian languages.  I'm hoping to contact shakuhachi players and/or aficionados in mainland China.  Maybe there's call for a shakuhachi instructor who can speak Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and English.

It's a pleasure to join this community.  I look forward to meeting both old and new acquaintances on this forum.

Yours truly,
David Nyogen Soler

Hello David,
Glad to meet you.  If you ever make it over to Japan, I'd love to meet up with you.  I'm in Kumamoto in Kyushu.
