The "Light Use Punishment" Shakuhachi

I was given a free Shakuhachi when I purchased a Yuu online to "demonstrate what real bamboo" sounds like. It was obviously a test flute, had a long crack down the side, but was still pretty solid. I took some pictures to demonstrate that the Shakuhachi would be suitable in close quarters combat. They're pretty durable considering how they expand & contract so often.

I didn't get a lot of pictures unfortunately, there were also a few techniques for bear hugs, etc.

Suitably, I am about as proficient in combat & playing as a disabled monkey, it was still a lot of fun to try out. The flesh tears from the mouth-rest on a bear-hug were rather fun. It's also good to drag the root end across the metacarpals of the hand.
