Miami anyone?

Hello everyone,

I'm am a complete novice with the shakuhachi and really need a teacher.  Never has a sound affected me to my core so much and I want to be able to make that sound myself.  I don't mind if I have to travel to the surrounding areas if needed (within reason, I would hate to have to spend as much on gas as on lessons.....I'm dedicated, but broke)

Thanks in advance for the help

Mastery does not lay in the mastery of technique, but in penetrating the heart of the music. However, he who has not mastered the technique will not penetrate the heart of the music.

Thanks Rick and he will be playing in the Coconut Grove art fest this month so I'll get the chance to go see him perform too!  That's just serendipitous.
