A friend gave me a hand-written copy of Ririura by Yokoyama Katsuya. It's missing the last page or so.
Does anyone know if this score is available commercially?
thx

Hi,
From what I've heard this piece was pretty much an improvisation and there wasn't any notation. Maybe your friend or someone they know wrote it out?

Isn't this joke dead yet?
If not, would someone PLEASE take it out behind the barn and put a bullet in its head?
Justin, I think this falls to you.

It certainly has that feel. It also sounds like Yokoyama playing both parts (a 2.7 and a hassun).
Lord only knows where my friend got the score. It's been so long that even he doesn't remember.
I posted a bit of the score at http://shikan.org/Ririura.html
Maybe someone will recognize the caligraphy?
For the perpetually curious, the piece is on Yokoyama's ONKU CD, currently available from the good folks at Mejiro.

Remove the period at the end of the link and she works just fine.

On that CD, the only time I've heard the piece, Yokoyama is on 2.7 and Iwamoto Yoshikazu was on 1.8 if I remember correctly.
