Outside tradition - non-shakuhachi

Sometimes thinking outside the box is cool.

This one is almost high art. "Sometimes words have two meanings" is an ominous statement because for most the second meaning is unknown, that alone has a tendency to be frightening, and given the context,  guessing that the second meaning is satanic is sometimes understandable. I think this puts the song in a context where the second meaning is most likely optimistic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WfoccRna6I

In this one the song sounds like it was written for the new context: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2L2hlWTshlQ

Here's one of my favorites, in this one the lyrics don't fit the genre at all, but the bad fit makes it funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1x1ho017bo

"Now birds record new harmonie, And trees do whistle melodies;
Now everything that nature breeds, Doth clad itself in pleasant weeds."
~ Thomas Watson - England's Helicon ca 1580
