Audacity with Win7

Has anyone been using Audacity, the recording and editing program, with Win7 yet?  I understand it is still in beta for Win7.  I have a new laptop with Win7  and wondered whether to wait until Audacity was out of beta or to just go ahead and download it now.  Please let me know if you've been using it with Win7 and if you've any glitches with the beta.

thanks,
Erin

Re: Audacity with Win7

Hi Airin, I'm still on XP but have always run Audacity Beta versions with LAME and never had a problem. For simple recording, editting and analysis I can't see you having any problem

says that it works well with Win7 and I'd believe them. Plus if people like us don't do the testing then FLOSS doesn't work

Re: Audacity with Win7

I've used it with windows 7 without any problems, eventhough my version was made before windows 7.  Vista was a divergence from the way that Windows OS's usually run and 7 is kind of getting back to basics in many ways, so I don't think there should be much of an issue.
