My friend Matsume just gave me three shinobue flutes, two his grandfather made. So of course I would like to find some music to play on them. I'll have alook around to see if I can find anything, but if anyone has some they can scan for me or something that would be great.

Mejiro is a store in Tokyo who sell shinobue (and shakuhachi for the rest of us) and have plenty of notation, method books and CD's.
Saori is the person to contact there. She is fluent in English. Tell her I sent you.

Thanks, yeah I've seen their shinobue section and e-mailed them after your suggetion. I also found three pieces on a website if anyone else is interested, and they have a bunch of tips and so forth on there but it is all in Japanese. Even if you only know alittle Japanese (like me) it is very helpful.
